Well,

it all started as a simple gearbox oil change.......ends with no oil change and a very stripped fill bolt! I can get the drain bolt undone easily, but as for the top bolt, no way. I have used EVERYTHING (Spanners, wrenches, etc, etc, until i used a BIG set of vise grips- now it's really stripped.) All the vise grips did was strip the metal off the head, almost like it was made of an alloy.....yeah, that soft. Well, now that it's really stuck on, i figure i can do a few things, either use an easy-out type device (hard because i'll have to pull the gearbox to do this i think), or i had a stroke of genius and thought i could empty it all out VIA the fill hole, then use a plastic/rubber grommit type thing, and pump the new oil back in via the drain hole.... would that work? I've got a gear-gear type 12v pump that will pump 80w diff oil, slowly, though, but it will pump it into there, i am just wondering if this would work? Weelll, any advice would be nice, but someone to fly to australia and fix it for me would be nicer! (i know that won't happen tho!). ANyways, thanks all,
