I am trying to replace a seized front caliper. Its so seized I can't drive the car. The nut on one of the lines was already stripped by someone else before I started, and the second will strip if I try to crank on it any harder. I don't want to replace the brake lines. the flexihose connections look even more corroded and seized. I have tried liquid wrench with no success, although I think it may have unseized the piston. Is there anything wrong with heating the fittings with a torch? I don't care about the caliper its toast anyway, I just want to save the lines, since I don't have spares. Any suggestions would really be appreciated
