going to replace my leaky water pump and O-rings, but I can't get the gee dern fan off!! I got the blade off, moved the shroud, but when i turn the bolt the pulley moves. so i wedge a screwdriver in behind it, snap the screwdriver's tip off.... was a Stanley anyhow.. put vice grips on the spacer behind the bolt, can't budge it. tried holding the crank pulley with another wrench, but the belt slips. am i turning the thing the wrong way??? i'm doing lefty loosey like I learned in shop class. tried WD-40 too... my Haynes manual is of no help on the subject. can anyone provide some insight? or make an offer on the car... '75 245 w/ B20 motor (i know.. i know... i posted to the 140 section, but those 240 guys keep thinking i have one of their OHC motors...) it's got 112,000 on it, and $200 of head work has ZERO miles and 4 leaky minutes of run time. no rust, green, auto. GLE rims, 27mm sway bar, TONS of spare parts. Thanks! -Rob in York PA
