OD relay questions 160 1983

I replaced the od relay on my 83 244 with auto transmission.

The new one works nicely but everytime I turn the car on it shows that the OD is off and the button needs to be pushed to engage it.

My old one left the OD on unless I disengaged it. But everytome I restart the car the new one has the OD disengaged.

The relays are identical except for color, all the numbers on the relay and on the prongs match.

Should I be concerned? Will this mess up my tranny or od solonoid?
