PLEASE!!! Help me decide on this 740 Turbo Wagon 700 91

I am considering a '91 740 turbo wagon. I first took it to a body shop as a few of the cars panels have been repainted including the hood, although the body damage if any was minimal according to the body shop. There is some telltale overspray on some of the rubber. The body shop described ot as a relatively high mileage (141,000 miles) car that was well cared for and kept in a garage. Dash has no cracks, leather seats are in good shape et.c etc. The leather seats are in very good condition, some minimal spots and a couple of minimal spots on the headliner in front. Otherwise the interior is flawless. It has a cellular phone pedestal I think mounted to the floor that can be retofitted for a contemporary digital phone I think. Don't like the fact it is mounted to the floor but I guess this is normalQ

The wagon comes with a built in dog gate should I need it and the third seat looks like it has not been used. Found out that the car was maintained regularly by a local dealer, however many items replaced, ball joints, control arm bushings, rotors, master computer, power steering rack, etc. Is this normal? Had the car checked out today and the mechanic said it needs a new radiator, water pump, and turbo intake hose. Also the timing belt last done aout 43,000 miles ago so it will be due at 50K I think? These items add up to about $500 even if I do them myself. The mechanic did not disassemble the intake hose to check the impeller but said he could tell by the boost and sound of the turbo that it is fine. (is this possible). He said if he removed the hose he might have to replace it and I did not own the car yet. Does this car seem to be worth $5,300. I am asking them to go down to $5,000. With the repairs, registration, etc. it would to about $6,000. Does it seem worth it? Also the rear hatch says 740 Turbo on it but does not say intercooler, though the mechanic says it had one. Did volvo not always put the word intercooler on the hatch? Does it sound like I should buy this car? Others have turned it down as it is bright cherry red (non-metallic) but I think it is kinda fun looking. I would be the one driving it. Oxidation may be a problem?? Any feedback is despirately appreciated. I am accustomed to Toyotas and Hondas that need little but want a wagon with room.
