The teenage volvo killer has just bought herself an '87 240....not too
bad....some rust issues, but generally sound....however,it will intermittantly stall out when put into drive or reverse....this is
when first started up.....anyone seen this before?????....not real sure,
but i'm thinking this has something to do with the load placed on the engine when the a/t is engaged and the signals needed by ecu at this point...possible marginal perfomance of 02
sensor or tps???????....anyway, any ideas would be appreciated...
oh, yeah...speaking of fuel level senders....i've got a dead sender,
is it possible to replace the sender part once i pull the in tank
unit????????
It is possible that the PO was ex-kgb, so these problems may have been
put in deliberately to piss me off......anyway....TIA for any ideas....
