Since switching to fully synthetic transmission fluid last summer (Quaker State 4 X 4 Fully Synthetic), the shifting is quick, certain and "positive".

Only now I am beginning to hear the gears revving. Sounds like a turbine sort of whine.

The way that lousy Getrag 238 5-speed manual shifted in mt '93 Chevy Lumina -- only softer sounding.

Is there a problem developing here?
