Where is the fuel filter? 200 1981

I have a 940 and a 244.

The 244 is running on carb, manual transmission with no OBD. It is a very old car but in running condition.

I don't recall having changed the fuel filter at all so I thought I go find it because recently it needs a few crank to start in the morning.

I crawled under the car but can't find anything similar to my 940. There was nothing under there to even suggest that it is a filter.

Brickboarders, can you help me on this? BTW where is the EGR valves on both the 940 and 244?
