Re: Details & Sources?/OMP strut Tower Brace 200 1985

First let me post a correction...

I did not make this brace...it is a product of OMP an Italian firm that makes Racing gear...the US importer is CFI Motorsports of Dover NJ and they can and will sell direct to you and me..they offer a VCOA/BB discount..

The assembly consists of 2 oval mounting plates that attach to the top of toy strut towers (leave the 1/2 moon shims on and pout the mounts on top of them cause theuy won't fit on top)...then there is a 2 part cross bar that attaches to the mount plates w/ a 14mm bolt and this has a adjustment turnbuckle arraingement in the center with locknuts..the only color is Yellow...Italian School bus Yellow...so get out the spray gun ofr send it out for Powder coating...

There is alink to CFI at the bottom of the page...The email for CFI is cfimotorsports@yahoo.com they also represent Recaro and others..The man to email is Peter Howe in Sales the Tech. guy is Craig...

Yes I am taking pix of the install process...we are haviing to change the alignment a bit so I'm going to a buddy's shop tomorrow and we gonna work it out..

The CFI product is not too shabby...and it's lots cheaper than ipd/Group 6...
