Volvo Special Tool 5284 200 91

Just recieved my B230 crank holder to change my seals, question in the bag with the tool came two Peg holders and two blue plastic pieces shaped like an A. My question, Are these peg holders or are they needed to use the tool? Have not changed seals before and do not want any surprises.

Got the tool from Brentwood for $45. The place that was mentioned on the board that makes the tool refused to sell it to me when I called, just thought I would let you know.
