Strange Electrical burn smell??? 200 82

Hello all,

My 82 244 DL with LH1 B21F engine has what smells like electronic

components frying.I am in the electronics field so I know what this smells

like.Question,what inside the car could be breaking down?At first I thought

it was most evident when using the wipers,but once the smell is gone,I

can't reporduce it with using the wipers.It comes and goes and seems strongest when I first start the car...Any ideas?/ Similar experiences??

Any help would be appreciated....Thanks.....Chuck
