Found problem with 'stretching' clutch cable 200 83

Haroon nailed the problem on the head! The plate in the firewall where the clutch cable passes through is a bolt-in plate (replaced by a blank for right-hand drives?), and it's cracked and bending. I just so happened to be planning to hit some pick-n-pulls with Zee tomorrow morning, so I'll try to pick up a replacement plate. Thanks everyone for your advice!
