Stalling Problem: Please Diagnose 200 1990

Problem: Stalling (engine quits/will not restart immediately).

Car: 1990 245; <200k miles; replaced both fuel pumps and fuel filter; transmission replaced by dealer 4 years ago; air mass meter replaced 8 years ago; regular maintenance.

Other info: New England location; occurs on both warm and cool days; usually occurs soon (10-15 min.) after a cold start; 89 octane; sudden onset/does not cough; restarts in 3-5 minutes.

Is this vapor lock?

Any suggestions or solutions?
