I'm still getting the vibe and noise after readjusting the carrier beam and the mount.
Your help is again requested in correcting a likely self inflicted wound on my '89 760 turbo wagon. Installed a new tranny mount yesterday, had replaced the hydraulic motor mounts 4 months ago. Tranny mount was toast so I thought I'd done good. Now the car has a bad driveline vibration that is exacerbated when turning right and applying any throttle. Almost sounds like binding at the driveshaft bearing.
I'm fairly sure the tranny mount is misaligned, but it looked like it could
only go in one of two ways, one 180 degrees opposite of the other. Does
anyone know if there is supposed to be only one way to install them or is
there an adjustment I've failed to make?
I loosened all of the bolts, revved the engine to let it settle in, now I'm
at a loss of where to go from here.
Your help may turn the trick. Thanks.
