Tailgate plastic... how to reattach? 700 1992

I have a '92 740 wagon with loose tailgate trim (the whole console bounces around when I shut the tailgate). I took it to our local dealer, who informed me that it's a common problem, but one which is also difficult to correct. He said there is a "CLIP KIT" that's hard to understand. Any suggestions? Thanks!
