M41 od transmission 444-544 1963

Just bought a mint 1963 544. Want to make it a little more of a highway cruiser.

How hard is it to put an overdrive transmission in it?

Also thinking of head work by john parker, a street cam, and bigger exhaust, modern ignition.

Any comments?
