Want to reduce 1.5 rpm to 1.0rpm?? 700 1987

Hello, excuse my bad translations (swede).

My 740 when warm runs at 1.5 rpm without pressing the gas pedal, ive heard it shpuld be 1.0rpm.

Ive tried turning the screw to the left of the engine but to no avail, anyone got any bright ideas??
