Radio code 900 93

My wife's 945 sw had the battery and generator/alternator replaced on a trip and the radio is in a constant "EEE" state and won't respond to the unlocking security code. Does anyone know how to resolve this or is the radio fried? I can't believe it's fried because I do hear a very, very weak radio station playing when its on. Can anyone help me here?
