radio static 700 1990

I saw the messages re: static on the radio. I have the same issue with my 1990 745. I have NOT corrected yet but recall there is some "anti-static" spray for reostats. I successfully used this stuff about 15 years and have been looking for some. I didn't see any at radioshack. It could be available through a more full service electronics supply place. In the past, I sprayed this stuff (similar to WD40) around the volume control knob. It worked great. I am seeking the name or place to purchase this spray? Anyone used this similar product?
