Any advice before I replace my heater hose? 200 87

Hello all-

I'm getting ready to do a cooling system make-over. I got a Nissens 3-row ($168 including shipping from bimmerparts.com!!!! Take that IPD), new hoses, new heater hose, etc. Looks pretty straight ahead except the heater hose looks pretty difficult to wrestle out. Any tips? I'm also going to do a cooling line transmission flush while I'm at it. Water pump and thermostat have both been replaced within the past couple of years, so I'm OK there. As usual, thanks for your help!
