Clunk/Groan from rear? 200 1987

I am getting a clunk/groan from the rear of my '87 245 w/5-speed. It occurs when I pull away from a stop, I think I also hear it as I change gears (but much quieter). The rear also clunks as I put it into reverse.

I replaced the Rear Trail-Arm bushings last year. Is this a U-joint problem?

Any help appreciated.
