here's what should be a very uncomplicated subject - i'm looking to replace
battery cables and realize that the generic ones at auto parts stores are not close to the originals, yet you can't pay the dealer the price for a set you thought might have been for a set with a free battery thrown in..... i actually went back to the store thinking they had just given me the wrong ones and they had the specific cables - all they have requires cutting and splicing to add length to the leads, etc - am i missing something or is the simple sometimes really this ridiculous?
also - i'm looking to change my man. transmission fluid - i called up a mpls, mn dealer to see when my car (previous owner was there alot) last had it done - the respone was that it doesn't have to be changed....is this just like the owners manual for 240 b230f saying that the elec. heated o2 sensor does not need "periodic replacement" and the idle speed doesn't require adjustment - what' s up with that?
