How typical, the snow starts flying and my fan motor decides to fly south for the winter. Problem . . . only operates on "5." Will not operate on speeds 1 through 4. Atleast I've got heat but, jeez-louise, not looking to burn my ass out of the car on every trip.
Could this be a resistor issue or simply a bad blower motor? If it is a resistor, how does a non-electrical type like myself identify and troubleshoot a suspected resistor? Or should I just forget about it and get a new one with the blower motor?
As always, thanks in advance.
