Hi,
I have a 1993 900 Sedan, and the headlights seems to be a little dim. I looked at one of the bulbs, and it seems to be a Sylvania brand bulb. I didn't see any other specs, but I would assume it's just a standard bulb. My question has been, "Can I get brighter bulbs"? I read the article on Brickboard about bulb replacements, but it didn't really answer my questions.
I was told about a PIIA bulb that runs around $75.00 I hear that it is brighter and uses the same amount of power to operate. Is this bulb really brighter? Is it worth the extra money? Are there any other bulbs out there that would make things brighter without blinding on coming traffic?
The article on Brickboard did conclude that using Osram Suprer or Philips Premium is best. Are these brighter than the average bulb? It also mentions the option of the Xenon type bulbs by True Blue or Blue Vision. Are these safe to use in my car? Do they use more power? Do you need different wiring?
Thanks.
