Tightening Belts

I've noticed an increasing amount of squeal coming from the belts in my 89 240. I'm thinking I want to tighten them up a bit to see if that helps, but I'm not really sure how to do it. I haven't worked with the belts in my car yet, and am sure they probably need to be changed, but I was hoping to fix it for a bit with just the turn of a wrench, if possible.
