the only thing 'great' on the car (the engine) died 200 1978

I have a 240 gt that I got for practicly nothing that the engine blew on it. I can do the work myself i am not a rich man though. The body needs work and I think the tranny will be the next to go. I need to know if its worth it. I love the idea of owning a classy classic volvo.
