rubber vs. poly bushings, can you tell the difference? 120-130 1965

I'm in the middle of the front end refurb. Ball joints, tie rods, center link ends, bushings.

The car came with an IPD front bushing kit which are all rubber. I can get poly bushings and will be doing the usual handling mods at a later time. (sways, springs, bilsteins)

So should I track down the poly bushings? I have no idea if you can really feel a difference in handling with bushing composition. If it improves response, I would lean towards it.

Front end is apart so it seems this would be the best time to switch.

Thanks in advance.
