Economy on my 92' 745T? 700 1992

I just got the car a short while ago and it was recently tuned up. I know that it has a sort of small fuel tank but it seems to suffer on gas. What is the normal range of the tank and what is a good mpg? I figured my economy at 15 mpg, and 250 miles to empty. Is the turbo also a big factor?
