I have the Haynes "Automotive Repair Manual" 1974-1990. I find that it comes up short on details over and over again. I can't even find the description of the hose that runs from the passenger side of the engine compartment to the air filter. Is there a better repair manual out there or should I give up and let a mechanic take over (my car has been sitting for months while I use the wife's cause I am just about broke)? If there is such a thing as a Volvo "Bible" please let me know. Thanks.
ps. And just what is that hose if you know what I mean?
