If the water in the backseat is not from rain, but from car itself, where would it be from? 200

I may have come to the conclusion that the water which has been collecting in the footwell of the passenger side backseat of my 245 could be from the car itself and not from precipitation. It appears that perhaps the water may be migrating from the area around the center console at the front footwell, traveling around the perimeter of the car under the doors & collecting in the rear footwell. If this is the case, where could it be coming from? Keep in mind that I'm located in a cold-weather climate, so I haven't used the A/C, just the heater. When it comes to cars, I'm not mechanically inclined, but I'd rather not have to pay a mechanic to go on a wild goose hunt looking for a leak, etc. Any thoughts? Many thanks in advance.
