Hello, all Volvo gurus and enthusiasts!
There is such a problem... I decided to replace the old oxygen sensor
on my Volvo 240 DL 1987. By once this sensor hasn't been replaced
since the birthday of my car, the thread in the hole on the exhaust
manifold appeared to be gone due to rust. So, the new sensor failed to
be screwed in...
Could anybody give me the best and cheapest variant how to fix the problem?
My mechanic proposed me to replace the whole manifold. But its prices bites...
New manifold is about 250 "greens".
Thanks all in advice.
Sincerely,
Dmitriy.
