San Diego Body Shops? 700

Just one of those days! Flying frisbee semi truck mud flap, hit me pretty hard on the middle and left side of the bumper. Took out the fog light, several lower section of the abs black grate grill, etc.
I need to look at another 99 9-5 SE 2.3LPT, but it might have ripped off what looks like a lower plastic protection plate (there is one on the right side, but now none on the left). So many things were spitting out the back, along with the mud flap, I'm not really sure what came off of my car!
Sooo, two questions:
1)I'm looking for input on good body shops in the San Diego area. Oceanside's Continental Motors is to my north, anyone with body shop experience with them? Or, other suggestions?
2)Is this considered an accident, or comprehension? I need to check the our policy deductibles, but was not sure how most insurance companies would handle this?
