My 93 245 has 108,000 miles on her and I'd like to adjust the valves. I'm pretty familiar with doing this on other types of cars (VW, high perf. V8s, etc.) but was wonder what most folks did about getting an assortment of shims together before tackling the job? Also, I see from my Bentley that there are a couple of special tools used. Anyone make their own versions of these tools or substitute something else? THanks.
