What's going on here!? The stock radio/cassette player in my 1987 740 GLE cuts in and out from time to time. It makes no difference if a tape is playing or if the radio is on am or fm, suddenly the system makes a static noise and no radio/tape sound can be heard. I've tried turning the radio on/off but the static continues. Then, just as suddenly, the radio is operating again. Any ideas?
