Anyone replace their idle control valve? 200

Because I need to. The reason my car won't startup very well is because the Idle Control Valve is shot (or so says my mechanic.) I agree because after cleaning the throttle body and checking for vacuum leaks, there isn't much left. He tested it and found that the motor doesn't work. They pointed it out to me and it looked relatively easy to replace. I'll be taking a trip to the boneyard this weekend I guess to pick up a few. Any suggestions or tips before starting this project?
