Power steering leak 700 1986

I have a 1986 765 and the metal fitting connection at the top of the power steering rack is very corroded and is leaking - about 1/4 pint a day. Is this line standard brake lines / fittings? Assuming I can get the line off without damaging the steering rack can I do this myself?
