Driver's Seat Adjustability on a Passenger's Seat 700

I'm in the process of swapping a tan leather interior out of a '91 740 to put into my '88. I have completely stripped the perfect interior from a car at the junkyard and have already installed a crack free dash this past weekend. Since I will have an extra driver's seat kicking around after I swap interiors, I was wondering wether I could add the adjustablity from it to the new leather passenger's seat. It seems it would make more sense that the passenger's seat have the tilt/recline features rather then the driver's side. I don't know about you but I rarely recline as I am driving down the road. The best way that I can think of accomplishing this project would be to bolt the lower frame section of my old driver's seat onto the upper frame section of the passenger's seat and swap the leather cushion onto the lower frame section. However the storage bin to the left of the passenger's seat would have to be modified so the adjustability lever could poke through. I'm really hoping this could be done somehow and was hoping somebody has already done it. I noticed that Michae1 mentioned something like this on his website about his 244 but I'm thinking it will be harder to do on a 740 seat. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
