Main Fuel Pump Help 200 1983

Hi, I have a strange problem, I replace the intank pump, when I do this, doest work, I check the fuse panel and the fuse is broken (not burned), I make the replace of this fuse and something strange do, Some lights in the odometer place (turbo, brake failure, etc.) not is on when the switch is the position ON (not started), and when my car stall (when is cold), I hear the mail pump is on and dont stop. Before of the replacement about 10 seconds goes off (my switch is on, and the car is not started). Is a electric problem? any Idea?
