Hello there. Today I test drove a nice 90 740 turbo. Silver with black leather. Everything was nice on the inside and out. The guy was asking 4000 for it, and I really liked it, but there were some things my stepdad didn't like. The idle was rough; the steering wheel was shaking. Also my stepdad said the sterring fluid was leaking. The steering was rather heavy. By the way, the car has 104k miles. He thinks that the only problem is something with the spark plugs. Also, there was a ticking sound when idling. The thing is that my stepdad doesn't know what to look for in terms of how it should be running. Are these things normal? What can I do to fix them if I do buy? I really did like the car and would like to buy it but something seems strange. The guy selling it was a salesman at the dealer too. He wasn't selling through the dealer so that's 4000 in private sales dollars. Anyway, thatnks for any info.
