Ontop of the issues I have listed in first post about this car

I have also found something a little disturbing yesterday with the electrics.

First.
When I rev the engine up to around maybe 3-4k the up arrow illuminates then when the idle drops it goes out. I turned on the OD and it stayed put. But when off it illuminates.

Second.
The radio receives maybe one or two stations and it only plays those stations whenever it feels like.

Is there an electrical gremlin I should be concerned about?

Is it possible that the engine operation problems (or the faulty FI components) are interrelated?
