Has anyone tried the econo - Bilsteins - German engineering for those on a budget. I have been getting pricing and availability of strut inserts here in Ontario. My local auto parts stores seem to have only Munroe and Gabriel - anybody know how these compare to Boge and KYB? Munroe sensatrack are the premium shocks being offered at around Cdn$90 each - any comments? Can anyone speak to the differences between the Boge grades - Boge automatic being the choice if you liked the way your Volvo handled when new ( I've never been anywhere near a new Volvo). The lowest price inserts I've found are the Munroe Limited Edition at Cdn$125 but I don't want to do this job every 2 years and I want good safe handling for my family.
