Ronald -
I replaced my springs and bars (1990 745)with the IPD stuff and since it was apart deceided to replace the front cartridges with,what I though,was a good shock-the top of the line Monroe from Can. tire, speced for the turbo car.The IPD spings are stiffer and do come with recommendations for shocks,but what do they know.....Well less than 6 months later I could not stand the kid Honda bounce and ordered some KYB replacements and have been very happy.I ordered mine through Performance Improvements in Toronto and they were around $100.ea
Surley the Bilstiens are very good but have not tried them on my Volvo.
