Hello fellow Brick Owners:

A couple of us in the Dallas\Ft Worth Texas are interested in starting a new Volvo Club. The purpose of this post is to solicit input to see if enough individuals are interested in meeting on a regular basis to make this club work. Discussions amongst us have not yielded any concrete guidelines about the final character of the club. They have, however, created an informal picture of what we would like the Club to be for those involved. Here they are:

1. Primary focus of this new Volvo Club would be 700\900 series
Volvos. However, anyone who owns a brick would be warmly welcomed.
2. Informal meetings would be the norm.
3. Meetings would focus on sharing maintenance and repair information.
4. Meetings would be held at local eating establishments so we
could enjoy good food as well as good company.

In an attempt to get the ball rolling, a “Get To Know Your Neighbor” meeting will be held on Monday April 8th at the Sonic Drive-In located at the intersection of Plano Rd. and Kingsley Rd (Lake Highlands area) in Dallas. Those interested in attending should arrive between 6:30 and 7:00 PM.
