Plastic lever attached to handle inside door, broke off. I replaced it. Everything was working fine. I took it for a drive, breaking in my new brake pads, I set the lock once. When I got back to my garage, the door wouldnt open.
Before I "fixed" it, it would open from the inside but not from outside. Now it wont open at all.

I'll have to destroy the inside panel to get the door open, no problem. But, Im not sure where to go from there. I can return it to where it will open from the inside, but not from outside just by disconnecting the lever from the outside door handle. But how to return it to normal operation?

Any ideas are much appreciated.
