oil pressure warning light goes on and off after oil change! 700 1986

Did an oil change yesterday and when I was driving last night, I noticed
the oil warning lights on for a few seconds then off again.Quickly pulled over
and checked..No leaks,oil level is fine.My guess is when I was installing
the oil filter,I must have "touched" the crumbling wire harness to the oil sending unit and caused some faultering/loose contacts?? I checked on the connection this morning and "tighten/rigged" it the best I can.Warning lights
off now but once on my way to work it "flickered" for a while and went off.
My question is do you think my diagnosis is right or is my oil pressure
beginning to fail?? It has 230k runs very good and does not use any oil.
I use Mobil One/Mann filter every 5k.I need a new wiring harness and still
waiting for a good used one to show up!!!Thanks in advance for the replies.
