Situation Normal: Fix one thing, another goes wrong. 700 1989

First I would like to say thanks to those who suggested Helicoil and Time-Sert to solve my stripped timing belt tensioner bolt issue. After searching Checker (no thread repair kits at all) and Auto-Zone (some no-name kits, not in the size I needed), I finally found that Bumper to Bumper had the Helicoil kits. Once I ran to Home Depot and got the correct size drill bit (13/32, what an odd size...), I came back, drilled the hole, twisted in the coil, and I was off and running.

My current problem is that after replacing (in no particular order) the timing belt, water pump, intake manifold gasket, thermostat, and heater core supply and return hoses, the contrary beast...I mean my lovely kitten won't start. She cranks, I see the fan turn, but she doesn't catch. I thought maybe I got the timing messed up, so I tore it down again, and found that I had the crankshaft off. I reset it correctly, but the results were exactly the same. I guess the next steps would be to check for spark and fuel. Any other hints?

Thanks!
Eric
