Cleaning and protecting underhood hoses? Adhesive for emblems?

I've read that silicone products should not be used on intake hoses (bad for the O2 sensor?) I'd like to clean all my underhood hoses and protect them, is armor-all ok? Reccommendations?

My Volvo emblem is showing its age. What's good for reattaching it, don't want to ruin the paint.
