Hard Start Problems...(continuation) ..narrowed it down... but I still need some help. 700

We've done some troubleshooting.
By spraying starter fluid in the intake valve, she'll start up.
If you wait about 40 minutes or so, she won't start, shoot more fluid > then starts right up.
What gives?
