I just purchased a used 240D 1990 Volvo, it has a stalling problem only when hot and only during startup (I drive with two feet for the first 5 minutes then OK) . I checked the diagnosic code from the computer and received 121 ( AMM ) and 231 ( fuel adjustment ). Approx (1) week later the check engine light came on)
I replace the AMM with a rebuilt unit, and it didn't help. I did clean connections to the trottle positioning switch and now it starts when hot occational.
I cleared the codes from the computer and drove approx 50 miles and the check engine light is on again, code 121. I've checked the connections and don't see anything wrong.
The car runs great, even with the light on. What can I do besides take out the bulb to the check engine light
Looking for help...Dave
