To rehash my 90 744ti died in traffic at idle. I was able to restart although it was backfiring through the exhaust. The timing belt jumped a couple of teeth. Car was towed to the shop. The timing belt was replaced. It was installed wrong at first (the crank gear was off several teeth). After it was installed correctly the car starts and idles only if the amm is disconnected but will sputter if raised above idle as if it is running out of fuel. The amm was replaced with a rebuilt unit but to no avail same symptom. It has 42psi of fuel pressure. It has good compression, spark and the timing has been checked. What am I missing?
